2024 Circle Calendar - Lunar - Zodiac - Year at a Glance

This is a digital copy of my circle calendar for the year 2024. It is intended to be printed at 24x24 inches, but I have included a higher resolution version for up to 48 inches. A printed version is available on my Etsy shop.

The circular layout enables you to see the whole year at once, and feel the existential dread as you fill in the circumference one day at a time. This is useful for noticing approaching events, like birthdays, vacations, or deadlines.

This file is intended for personal use only. Please only print copies for your own use. If your friends want one, please direct them to this page or purchase multiple copies.

CIRCLE DIRECTION

Choose from two versions: clockwise or counterclockwise. Clockwise starts with January at the top and moves towards February to the right. Counterclockwise also starts at the top but moves to the left.

Two print ready PDFs in CMYK for printing a 24x24 inch poster. Other files include the 48in version and jpeg previews (the PDFs are sluggish).

WHY A CIRCLE?

Whenever I visualize the date, I imagine my position on a circle. This circle represents the earth’s position in its orbit around the sun and proximity to each season. In my mind the top is the winter solstice (northern hemisphere), with the months progressing counterclockwise. Since most people seem to find this odd, a clockwise version is also available.

INFO INCLUDED IN THIS CALENDAR

This calendar provides the standard day, week, and month info, but it also tracks the lunar cycle, the seasons (equinox, solstice, festivals), and the zodiac. I’ve also included earth’s perihelion and aphelion dates. These dates are based on UTC-6 time zone.

These are the sections of the calendar, starting with the outer ring and moving to the center:

- A bubble to fill in each day (also includes a symbol for solstice/equinox)

- a box for daily notes

- day numbers and names

- week numbers

- month names

- new and full moons

- astronomical zodiac

- star map of the zodiac constellations

- names and symbols of the astrological zodiac

- illustrations for each astrological zodiac

- the wheel of the year seasonal festivals

- arrows showing the direction to read the calendar (clockwise or counterclockwise)

- and at the center is the year (2024) and the time zone I based my dates on (UTC-6).
